The Committee for Member Support (CMS) is a group of student volunteers that operates to educate graduate students and postdocs about their rights and responsibilities and to support students and postdocs in cases where their rights have been violated.
In pursuit of this mission, the CMS provides a confidential support service and acts as a source of information regarding University rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
In cases where students wish to seek legal advice (or incur other costs related to a rights violation), the CMS can facilitate monetary disbursements from their Member Legal Services Fund (MLSF).
How to contact us:
If you would like to consult a caseworker about an issue you are dealing with, contact the Member Support Commissioner by email at email@example.com.
