Discover your inner world, one word at a time! These writing workshops invite McGill students into a welcoming space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with their inner genius. Guided by certified facilitators from the Writers Collective of Canada (WCC) and in collaboration with the McGill Student Wellness Hub, each session offers inspiring prompts, a safe circle for writing and positive feedback, and the simple joy of creative expression—no experience necessary.

Innovation Café Series — Skill Swap Café Bring one skill to share and one you're curious about. We'll start with the Skill Swap Wall, and then match you for a couple of mini-chats. No slides, no jargon—explain it like you would to a friend at a café. Whether it's Python tips, stats sanity checks, Illustrator basics, or latte art (we won't say no), you'll pick up new tricks, meet grads outside your department, and spark ideas for future projects. No exams, just espresso.

Join us for a Sip and Support on Wednesday, November 19th, 4:30-6:00 pm at Thomson House. Enjoy fresh FREE tea, coffee and cookies, while you chat with fellow students about grad school, and learn about some of the resources and support available to you. This event is a collaboration between the PGSS Graduate Community Support Program and the GuardMe Student Support Program. Registration is required.

Lights, camera, party! Step into the spotlight at Mac campus for our Hollywood Glam Wine & Cheese Night — a red-carpet evening just for grad students! Join us on November 21, from 5:00 to 7:30 PM, for an unforgettable night of style, sparkle, and sophistication. Open to ALL McGill graduate students.

Some stories can't be explained by data or logic. Join us for an evening where fellow grad students share paranormal stories from their lives, friends, relatives, or home countries. Selected stories will be read aloud while everyone enjoys good company and a cup of mulled wine.
