What's better than yoga with friends? Free yoga with friends! PGSS is hosting Yin and Basic Flow yoga classes this semester. The courses are run by fellow PGSS member and yoga instructor, Bill Odette. Learn breathing techniques and relax in time for the busy end of the semester. All levels of experience welcome, the sessions will emphasize gentle and restorative postures, perfect for the busy student lifestyle.

PGSS & Studentcare FREE Meditation Hour- Fall 2018 will be held on Mondays from 12:30-1:30pm in room 404. No previous meditation experience necessary; each session is designed to be accessible to anyone interested. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the session to allow us to begin promptly; doors open at 12:00pm. These sessions operate on a drop-in basis; no registration is required, and there is no charge. Participants may start attending at any time in the semester.

Study Session for Parents and Kids Program is designed to provide an opportunity once or twice a month for McGill students with child dependents to complete academic work while their children are cared for in the same building by volunteers. This year a collaboration between SSMU and PGSS.

PGSS Community Consultation on Sustainability"The PGSS Environment Committee is embarking on the next phase of our sustainability strategy. Things have been getting pretty scary on the climate side of things... (recent warnings from the IPCC report, findings that 60% of wildlife species have been wiped out since 1970, to name a few) meaning it's becoming increasingly urgent that we do our best to align our practices with scientific consensus.As part of that process, we want to hear from you! Come out to our community consultation on November 22nd to discuss your priorities for the new sustainability strategy for PGSS and Thomson House. There will be snacks and drink provided so there's really no reason not to come!
