Getting the Best Out of Your Supervisor

Looking for advice to make your relationship with your supervisor stronger? Join us for a panel discussion and learn about the importance of this relationship and the impact it can have on your graduate experience. You will be introduced to different supervising styles, learn strategies on how to handle disputes and misunderstandings and hear how to distinguish between your responsibilities and those of your supervisor. The panel will include presentations from faculty and students, as well as time for questions and discussion.


Monthly Mental Health Working Group

PGSS will be hosting a monthly Mental Health Working Group. This is a session where everyone is welcome to come share their opinions about the current mental health services at the University and ideas about how these issues should be tackled. These sessions are 100% confidential and we strongly encourage the participation of those with personal experiences with McGill’s health care system. The first session will be on Oct 30th from 5-7pm in the Thomson House basement.
